How Much Does a Wedding Coffee Cart Cost in Seattle?

Wedding coffee carts around Seattle typically run $1,000 to $2,500. Here's what moves the number, what's included, and how to get an exact quote.

Quick answer

Most weddings we pour run between $1,000 and $2,500. Where yours lands depends on three things: how many guests, how many hours the bar is open, and where the venue is. Travel within 30 miles of Auburn is included, and the quote always comes from Anna, built around your actual day.

This is the question I get asked more than any other, usually in the first email. So here's the honest version, with the same numbers we publish on our pricing section and nothing invented.

What the price includes

A wedding package is not just a machine and a person. Every booking includes:

  • A professional barista for the full service window.
  • The full menu: lattes, cappuccinos, americanos and cortados, hot or iced, plus ceremonial matcha, chai lattes and hot chocolate for the guests who don't drink coffee.
  • Organic Canyon Coffee beans, housemade vanilla, and premium syrups (caramel, lavender, white chocolate, strawberry).
  • Whole milk, oat milk and half and half, with decaf espresso on request.
  • Premium cups, lids, stirrers and napkins.
  • Travel within 30 miles of Auburn.
  • QR code mobile ordering at every table, a live drink tracker, and a text to each guest when their drink is ready, so nobody stands in a line.
  • A private link before the wedding where you pick your colors, write a welcome note and name signature drinks for the two of you.
  • A private recap afterward: the drinks poured, a wall of guest names, and the notes guests left you.

We bring our own triple-filtered water, so the venue doesn't need plumbing. We need a standard 120V outlet within 50 feet. That's the whole setup.

The three things that move the number

Guest count. This is the biggest factor, because it decides how many drinks we'll make and whether one barista can keep up. One barista pours roughly 60 to 80 handcrafted drinks an hour. Past about 100 guests in a short window, we usually suggest a two-barista setup so the queue never builds, and that adds to the quote. If you're trying to picture the math, we wrote it out in how many coffee drinks to plan for a wedding.

Hours of service. Two hours over cocktail hour is a different event from a bar that opens at the ceremony and closes after cake. More hours means more drinks and more barista time. We arrive one to one and a half hours before service to dial in the espresso, and that setup time is part of the package, not something you pay for by the hour.

Location. Anywhere within 30 miles of Auburn is included: Seattle, Tacoma, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Renton, Kent, Federal Way, Puyallup and the towns between. Farther out, Olympia or a venue near Mount Rainier for example, we quote the drive honestly as a small travel fee, and we tell you the number before you commit to anything.

Where in the range you'll probably land

I don't publish a calculator, because I quote every wedding individually and I'd rather be exact than approximately right. But the direction is simple:

  • A smaller wedding, a shorter window and a venue inside the 30-mile circle sits toward the lower end of the range.
  • A larger guest list, a long service window, or a two-barista setup moves it up.
  • A venue outside the circle adds the travel quote on top.

Tell me your guest count, your hours and your venue, and you'll have a real number from me within a day, usually the same day.

What isn't in the price

Two things, and I'd rather you hear them from me now than find them later:

  • Travel beyond 30 miles of Auburn. Quoted separately, in writing, before you book.
  • Anything the venue charges. Some venues have vendor fees or require a certificate of insurance. We're licensed and fully insured and can send a COI to your venue on request at no charge, but a venue's own fees are between you and them.

There is no per-drink charge and no surprise on the invoice. The number on your quote is the number.

How booking works

Once you like the quote, a signed agreement and a 50% retainer reserve your date. We run one cart and one team, one event at a time, so each date is only ever sold once. Summer and early-fall Saturdays go first; if you're planning a 2027 wedding, asking early costs nothing and keeps your date open.

Common questions

Do you charge per drink or per guest?

Neither. We quote the whole event based on guest count, hours of service and location. Your guests order as much as they like during the service window, and the number on the quote doesn't change.

Is there a minimum guest count?

No fixed minimum. Smaller weddings simply land toward the lower end of the range. Tell us your numbers and we'll quote it.

Does the price include setup time?

Yes. We arrive one to one and a half hours before service to set up and dial in the espresso. You pay for the service window, not our setup.

What if our venue is more than 30 miles from Auburn?

We'll quote the drive as a small travel fee and tell you the number up front. Many couples at venues near Mount Rainier or down toward Olympia book us this way.

Can we see the exact quote before paying anything?

Always. You get availability and pricing first. Nothing is reserved and nothing is charged until you've seen the number and signed the agreement.
