A Coffee Cart at Paradise Village in Ashford, WA
We've poured inside the Glass Venue at Paradise Village, at the foot of Mount Rainier. What to know about power, travel, timing and the light.

Yes, we bring the cart to Paradise Village in Ashford, and it's one of our favorite rooms. Ashford is outside our 30-mile included radius from Auburn, so there's a small travel fee we quote up front. The cart needs only a standard 120V outlet; we carry our own water. Book the service window around golden hour if you can.
Paradise Village sits at the foot of Mount Rainier, and its Glass Venue is a room made mostly of light. We set the cart inside and poured straight through the afternoon, and I still think about that light. This guide is everything I'd tell a couple planning the same day. You can see the room on our venues page.
Getting the cart there
Ashford is about an hour and a half south-east of our base in Auburn, well beyond the 30 miles we include in every package. That means a travel fee, and I'd rather say so first. We quote the drive honestly, in writing, before you commit to anything, so it's never a surprise on the invoice. Couples who book us for Paradise Village tell us the number was smaller than they feared.
Because of the drive we build in extra margin on the day. We arrive at least one to one and a half hours before service everywhere we go; for Ashford we leave earlier still, so mountain traffic never touches your timeline.
What the venue needs from us, and us from it
Very little, which is part of why this room works so well:
- Power. One standard 120V outlet within 50 feet of the cart. A dedicated 15 to 20 amp circuit is ideal, but a normal outlet does the job.
- Water. None needed. The cart is fully self-contained and carries its own triple-filtered water.
- Space. The cart is 6 feet long, 2.5 feet wide and 3 feet tall. It fits through standard doors but can't be carried up stairs, so a level route in matters more than square footage.
- Paperwork. We're licensed and fully insured, and we'll send a certificate of insurance to the venue on request.
We coordinate placement with the venue team so the cart sits where the flow of your day wants it, not in the way of it.
The light, and when to open the bar
The Glass Venue earns its name. In the late afternoon the light comes through the glass wall and across the room, with the mountain behind it. When we poured there we ran service straight through golden hour, and it's the stretch I'd recommend to anyone: the cart, the florals and the cups all look their best, and your guests are relaxed and ready for a latte.
If your timeline has the ceremony earlier, a bar that opens at the ceremony exit catches the biggest wave of orders (we explain why in how many coffee drinks to plan for a wedding). Either way, tell us your run of show and we'll suggest the window that fits.
Mountain weather
Ashford is higher and cooler than Seattle, and the weather turns faster. Two things help:
- The cart lives happily indoors, and the Glass Venue gives it a sheltered, level spot with the view intact.
- If any part of your day is outside, we need a flat, paved surface under a tent or cover. Grass and gravel aren't friends to an espresso machine.
Cooler evenings also mean hot drinks move faster. Expect more hot chocolate and chai alongside the lattes, and decaf after dinner.
Making it yours
Before the wedding you get a private link where you choose your colors, write a welcome note and name signature drinks for the two of you. At Paradise Village, where the room is so neutral and bright, the named drinks and a palette that matches your florals carry the whole look.
On the day, guests scan a small QR card at their table and order from their phones, then get a text when their drink is ready, so nobody is queuing in front of the glass. Afterward you receive a private recap: the drinks poured, a wall of your guests' names, and the notes they left you.
What it costs

Common questions
Do you travel to Paradise Village in Ashford?
Yes. We've poured inside the Glass Venue and would happily go back. Ashford is outside our included 30-mile radius, so a small travel fee applies, and we quote it before you book.
How much is the travel fee to Ashford?
It depends on the day and is quoted individually, always in writing and before anything is signed. Ask with your date and we'll include it in the quote.
Does the Glass Venue have what the cart needs?
The cart needs a standard 120V outlet and a level route in. We bring our own water. We coordinate the exact spot with the venue team.
Can the cart be set up outside at Paradise Village?
If there's a flat, paved surface under a tent or cover, yes. Otherwise we recommend the indoor placement, which keeps the view and protects the equipment from mountain weather.
When should we book for a Paradise Village wedding?
As soon as you have the date. We run one cart and one team, so each date is sold once, and summer and early-fall Saturdays go first.
